Me encanta!! Hermoso poema mi amor. Estoy sumamente emocionada por ti! Me estaré disfrutando el viaje y tus aventuras a través de tus fotos y escritos.
I have lost so much of the Spanish I'd learned and this was such a joy to read aloud to myself - fun to test my translation skills and beautiful to whisper the needed affirmations in English and Spanish... really making sure they get into my being - your love letter to yourself is a gift to me as well 🙏🏿 🫶🏿
I’m so so happy that these lines resonate with you and that you enjoyed the experience of reading this pieces and testing your Spanish skills. I am smiling as I type this and even more grateful for the opportunity to share my writing through Substack!
Again, how beautiful that my writing could be a love letter to you as well, wow. Thank you 🫶🏾✨
Yes I love grandmas too. I gravitate to them especially because both of my grandmothers have passed on. Aww thank you so much for the love and support. I’m excited to hear which posts resonate with you!
“I breathe, I release. I release, I heal.” Your Grandma Jackie’s legacy and powerful spirit is present in these words. Reading this, I imagined her breathing, healing and releasing with you. I cannot wait to read the many books you will write together.
Thank you for showing us what love, vulnerability and healing looks like. Yes to all of these countries and beyond - global experiences that last an eternity. 💕🫶🏽
Also I see that you are NY based. I am having a launch party for El Viaje on Sunday September 1. I would love for you to attend if you are available! I’ll send the link via DM
Thank you for sharing this beautiful affirmation of your life journey and connection with lineage and love and by doing so encouraging us to affirm our life journeys as well! This part stands out to me. It’s written in rhythm like breathing:
Going back to your first comment. Yesss to breathing and releasing. Releasing what weights us down is so necessary as often as possible. Sometimes I hold so much in.
I don’t believe in coincidence, I’ve been traveling recently, and this post mentions a couple of my stops. I recall sitting in the beach and thinking, shift and release. And I recall an internal shift. It’s really difficult to articulate in this little space, but this posting is like a universal nod… I really appreciate it too!
Wow, divine timing and serendipity at work. If those words fully articulate your connection to this piece!!
I felt led to share it this week. I wrote it weeks ago.
Tell me more, where are you traveling? Also I just added a paid subscription, I plan to host Q&A sessions. Our convo would be perfect for this! I’m also thinking about a podcast. So many ideas brewing!!

These lines!
Me sano, me respiro.
I heal, I breathe.
Me respiro, me libero.
I breathe, I release.
Me libero, me sano.
I release, I heal

Jasmine tears fill my eyes as I read your comment. I love the imagery of what you shared. Yes as I release and heal, she does too!
The line about my grandma is one of my favorite lines. She has always been a major force in my life, and I never wanted to imagine life without her.
Thank you so much for your loving words and speaking to the depth of me and my grandma’s love!
Why don't we write more love letters to ourselves? Thank you for sharing this beautiful work of art with us, Jasmine! 💛
